He was born on April 19, 1957. Konex Award 2017 and 2007. Jury Konex Award 1989. Essayist, journalist and music critic. He studied music in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has taught for more than 30 years and has a research career path and is  considered one of the most renowned Argentinian intellectuals in the Arts field. He was a member of the publisher board at Punto de Vista magazine. He works as a journalist specialized in music at Clarín Newspaper. He started writing music criticism at La Razón Newspaper in 1984. He is an Associate Professor of Musical Aesthetics at Universidad de Buenos Aires. He created and ran Lulú magazine, which opened the debate about aesthetics and music theory in the local intellectual field. Collaborator at national and international specialized publications. He is the author of the book, La invención musical: Ideas de historia, forma y representación, published by Paidós in 2004. He has given graduate  and post graduate seminars at several Argentinian universities and given talks at different universities worldwide.
