He was born in Buenos Aires and has made a stunning artistic career in Argentina, and in Europe and the U.S. He is one of the most outstanding exponents of Argentina's artistic milieu. He has filled positions at Teatro Colón alongside Orquesta Filarmónica since 1974. He performed as soloist at the Carnegie Hall with the Camerata Bariloche in 1991. He was awarded Konex Foundation Diploma of Merit in 1999. He is founding member of the Quinteto Filarmónico. He has been Principal Flute at the Buenos Aires Philarmonic since 1984. He also frequently performs as soloist and chamber music player in Argentina, Latin America, Europe and the U.S. He won the Konex Award Diploma in 1999 and the Platinum Konex Award in 2009.
